Protecting P.A.U.L.
The Protecting P.A.U.L. Program assists Lyon County Emergency Responders in identifying, locating, and helping those suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Individuals with Alzheimer’s or Dementia may have difficulty communicating their identity, address or needs. This program helps first responders to identify and appropriately interact with your loved one to better assist them and return them safely home.
It is our goal to equip police officers, fire fighters, and emergency medical services to respond with the greatest level of support and dignity when they encounter an opportunity to serve someone living with a Alzheimer’s or Dementia.
